Help!!!

I ordered a chameleon on line from a distributer, to make a long story short, when she came it was the WRONG chameleon!!! I do not know the first thing about this species. I knew what it was the second I opened the box ( at least I believe I know) It appears to be a werners female. Anyone with info on these guys so I know what to do with her would be appreciated! I am just trying to figure out if I should care for her the same way as my jacksons...?
 
Oh already called they are trying to "work things out".
I will get a pic up. She is a werners though and she is pretty fat, so possibly pregnant...?
 
Just take care of her like you would a newly imported Mt Meru Jackson's and I think you should be fine. Give her lots of water and humidity for a while and hopefully she will have a healthy clutch of bambinos. They are a live-bearer and should thus get "very large" before popping them out. You could show her this handsome fellow and see if she acts unreceptive too :rolleyes:

a what!!?? oh crap! What is the non latin name? I have no idea what we are doing right now. So she looks gravid? Are those live bearers? Do I treat them the same as the jacksons?
 
My husband is going to kill me! lol! Our xbox room has become the chameleon room lol. I was only planning on getting one or two more mt merus, not a whole other species! lol! She is cute, but I really did not need anything other then what I ordered. I contacted the seller to let him know exactly what type is was since I called in my car as soon as I picked up the box saying it was a female werners.
So looking up in the net it appears the care is the same as the rudis and jacksons I have so should be simple enough ....? Thanks for the quick replies as well!!!
 
So my daughter and husband find it funny that this species of chameleon is a flapjack since there is a new cartoon on tv called flapjack (If any of you know about it) well now they want to call her "Bubbi" for the time being (a girl whale in the show)
 
She is really cute, just not what I really needed at this point. The person I placed the order with will not know what is going on till monday, so in the mean time she is set up in my kitchen! lol!
 
I think Flapjacks seem totally cool, though I've never owned one. I've been talking to my husband about getting a pair from FlChams. Champhibians has a beautiful male in this months photo contest.

Update on shady seller!!!!

SO after discussing things with the seller, I decided last week to go ahead and purchase her with the agreement that he was going to send me out the correct animal the following Wednesday. So I sent him the funds through paypal for the flapjack and he still had my money for the mt meru. Well Wednesday rolls around and he calls me all pissy and says he is sending me pix of the new chameleon he got and if it is the wrong one he will issue me a FULL refund.He also thanks me SEVERAL times for being so understanding with him and patient. Well, needless to say it was the wrong animal again! This time a MALE flapjack. So he tells me I will have the money by Friday. So I email him yesterday and ask if I will be getting my money and he says yes tomorrow. So today rolls around and no payment reversal. So I email him again and he claims he can not send me the money as the wholesaler said he would refund him the money for the wrong animal and did not refund him for the flapjack I bought off him and was already here and as soon as he gets the funds for that he will pay me. So I end up putting in a dispute through paypal and he BULL@&ITS to paypal with the purchase order from the WRONG chameleon and they close the case in favor for HIM! So I was A$&ED out of my money cause the guy was a thief and ROBBED ME!! I have contacted Kingsnake to let them know what kind of seller they have on there. I really don't know what else to do. I feel like I was RAP@ED!!! I feel like I can never trust another seller from the internet again..... PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I AM ALLOWED TO POST THE NAME OF THE SELLER AND I WILL SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANOTHER PERSON AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Did you use a credit or debit card for the Paypal payment? If so, contact your card company and tell them what happened, and they can reverse the charges. You can also file a claim against the merchant in small claims court, which is a pain, but may be worth pursuing just to get this jerk!

How did he get a Paypal judgement so quickly? They usually take 20-30 days to make a decision.
 
he had this done in an HOUR cause he was able to show a tracking receipt for the first one!! What a scum bag!!!
As for as the money, I had most of it in paypal credit and the remaining which was only $24 came out of my bank account. So I contacted the bank and they are disputing it, but I did not realize till after I hung up that only $24 was from my account! I am just screwed all the way around!
