HELP

my 2 month old female veiled chameleon is very lively, eating well and passing urates but has not pooped since Tuesday.(the 2nd). I've tried giving her a warm bath and gently massaging her underside but that didn't work. should I continue to try? what other remedies are there? and when should I call the vet? I'm not really in the place financially to go to the vet but if it's for the health of my Cham, I'll do it! any advice will help.. I've heard of using oil? also using baby food? I would really like to hear multiple views on this, professional ones too. If you guys think that it's nothing to be too worried about yet then I'll back off her a little bit but until then, I'm kind of in my room at all times just to make sure she's okay.

If she is passing urates then she is probably pooping as well. At that age the poop can hide from you, it may be in a plant. You can use a drop of oil on a feeder, hornworms also get things moving.... But I wouldn't worry about it too much at this point. One of my boys only poops once every week. He is 3 1/2 and very healthy- he just doesn't poop every day. Your little girl is a cutie!

The yellow isn't that bad, runny, yes. Just keep an eye on it. My chams will sometime have small poops then the next day i wonder if they are going to need stitches lol.

POOP 101

Well taking her to the vet is never a bad idea. If this was me and I mean just ME, I would maybe wait a couple of days to see what happens. Just keep her feed and hydrated and see.
Oh and if you do take her to the vet be sure to put the freshest Poop and Urate in a bag to bring with you.

I think the poop looks fine- a little yellow at the end of white urate is not a problem, especially if it was a few days since she pooped.

The stool is nicely formed and firm--that's the brown part. The "runny" part comes from the kidneys--white urates and clear urine. Looks fine but I think you will want to remove that carpet.
