I just wanted to know is a shoebox a safe enough place for a veiled chameleon egg laying bin? And what is the youngest age a veiled chameleon can lay her first clutch of eggs? And! What is the smallest in size a veiled chameleon could be in order to lay her first clutch of eggs? Thank-you!

I don't think that is deep enough. From what I have read on here the preferrred size is atleast 12 inches deep. They can lay eggs at 5 or 6 months and they can lay around 30 eggs(being on the low side) and up to something like 100 if I remember right.
