since i have been super busy these few days i havent been able to run down to the store and get some crickets for my cham. so it has bee about 4 days now since he hasnt eaten anything but a couple of meal worms. now that ive gotten food for him, he seems weak  couldnt aim right and was shooting really slow. he just seemed so weak and sluggish. WHAT CAN I DO? i put him out in the real sun hoping that would help strengthen him up. and i am gonna constantly water him today. BUT IM SO WORRIED!!! please help!!!

edit: also he is around 9 months old and ive been told that that age is considered mature and can go a few days without food.

4 days without food shouldn't have caused that. Please fill out the questions in the link given in the previous post...and post a photo if possible.

Sorry for your problem, and I agree it really shouldnt have caused this issue. But please remember they are living creatures and busy or not they need food.
Was it really 4 days or longer? Just want to be sure.

yeah no more than 4 days. and i even fed him some king meal worms too so he wasnt completely starving. could they turn sluggish from lack of heat? maybe i should upgrade his 50watt bulb to a 75watt.

What are his temps? Please can you fill in the form? There is maybe something else troubling him.

the thing is, today my mom was bothering me all morning and rushing me to go swimming before the place closes. and i forgot to turn his lights on. i didnt get back until 11:30am and when i fed him that's when i noticed him when he ate he couldnt aim and shot out really slow and would usually miss.

Try putting him in the bathroom with the hot shower running for a while, he will breathe in the moisture and that should fix his hydration problem... Also, try feeding him something other than crickets, (roaches-phenoix worms) other than that... I don't know....

Do you know what are the temps in his cage? If your humidity is low and it's drying quickly it could be too hot. How much and how often do you mist? His fecal should have a white part. If it is yellow or orange he is probably dehydrated

i just tried feeding him something small just to see how his tongue works and he's back to his normal fast and accurate. that's a relief. but yeah i will work on that misting and more hydration
