Hemigraphis alternata; Purple Waffle Plant

Does anyone know if this plant is safe? It is related to the Pink Polka Dot plant and Fittonia's which are both safe. I know that probably doesn't mean much after all tomatoes and potatoes are related to the Deadly Nightshade!
It is also know for its ability to remove indoor pollutants from the air.

I actually have that list and one from another site and it is not on either list but plants from the same family are. Thanks for the link though
