after a recent NEAR tragic event, I've decided on purchasing a monitoring/timer device such as Herp Keeper Pro-NET from Digital Aquatics. Does anyone have experience with this device?
NEAR tragic event: Mistking timer failed on me and did not noticed until two days later when checking water reservoir had same level and cages seem more dry then normal. As soon as I pay-passed timer and kicked mister on, my chameleons were drinking up, then I realized what had happened.
Current setting is simply timers on everything: LIGHT, Basking lights, and time on mister (which has since been replaced).
I have not been able to find much as to functions and monitoring options, etc.
For example, would love to set MAX temp of 100, once there, basking lights turn off and fans come on to cool cages, humidity too low, mister comes on, etc. I have a device for my salt water reef tank that allows me to monitor all my settings and get real time parameters and allows me to turn off or no devices thru app. Would love if Herp Keeper Pro-NET allows me to do just that.
