2x2x4’ enclosure or equivalent along with some sort of stand for it
T5 ho with either ReptiSun 5.0 or Arcadia 6% uvb, long enough to span the enclosure width
Basking light
Correct supplements - phosphorus free calcium without D3 for use every feeding and then a calcium with D3 and a multivitamin, each to be used alternating one feeding every other week
digital thermometers and hygrometers
Lots of branches, vines, etc for climbing roads
A way to hang all those little chameleon roads (like Dragon Ledges)
Plan or system for drainage of excess water
Way to mist, either hand held or like a Mist King
Dripper is optional
Cool mist fogger for night time natural hydration when temps are below 70f
Lots of live and safe plants
An assortment of live feeders along with quality gutload for them
Knowledge of a vet near you who is experienced with chameleons (for wellness visit and fecal check as well as ‘just in case’)
That’s all I can think of at the moment. It’s always best to get everything you need and set up in advance so you can make sure your temps, humidity and all else’s is ideal before you put a chameleon in it.
