Hind legs dragging keeps falling over

we just got given a 3 year old yemen chameleon 2 weeks ago. She is in a 4ft mesh tank and eats crickets. She had been very active and walking around alot until she had a small fall which we caught her before she hit the ground. I found her in her cage next morning on her side in he plant pot she uses to lay her eggs but her back legs would not grip and she was very dehydrated.

She drank straight from a tap even though she gets misted twice a day. She is now even worse and dragging her back legs behind her and falling onto her side unable to bring herself back up. We hope to get her to the vets soon as they are shut now. any suggestions

Take her to the vet ASAP !

Make sure she stays low, allow a couple vines, make a catch net, take anything hard out of the tank, put towels on the bottom under the catch net. Can you move her into a smaller hospital tank so she can stay warm easier and still get the light she needs? Is she discolored at all? Any bruises? I am worried she has damaged her spine or something... Pics?

1. Thank you we have moved her into a safer tank and my partner is at vets with her now will post the outcome it may help someone else

She had a kidney infection which was pushing a nerve causing her to not feel back legs she has been given injection of two courses and been diagnosed with MBD we adopted her. Just hope we can help her get healthy

I will keep sending good vibes your way. Might want to take her outside after her kidney infection shows some improvement, even 15-30 minutes of outdoor uvb a day (if the outdoor ambient temps are favorable even cloudy skies don't block out much uvb) can do wonders for MBD <3 so much love to your little girl.

Did they tell you what to do to correct the MBD?
Proper supplementing, proper feeding/gutloading of the insects, proper basking temperatures are all important for the MBD.

Watering well is good for the kidneys of course.

Are you aware that female veileds can produce eggs without having mated and she should have a proper place IN the cage so she can dig to show you when she's ready?
