horn worm fun!

Wife freaked out "Something is eating my tomato's!!!" to my surprise, there were a bunch of hornworms (6-8) collected them all and put them in vented container with some tomato branches

Working on getting cage for breeding (have free time)

Question: Is there an economical worm chow BESIDES commercial made chows?
Any tips

Just don't feed hornworms that have been eating on tomato plants-poisonous.

Great Lakes Horn Worm sells 8 ounces for $8.00, which is the cheapest chow available, unless you want to make your own. You will find the $8.00 is worth it, trust me!
