horn worms

do horn worms bite?and can they hurt my quad?

I have been bitten plenty times by hornworms. It's not a bite that will send you screaming, it's just obvious pressure. Strangely though, I have never seen a hornworm bite one of my chams. Not saying that it couldn't happen and there may be different testimonies from other members on this subject. As long as the hornworm is appropriately sized for your quad to eat, I wouldn't hesitate using them.

i think I may have feed one that was to large.it turned as he was eating it and bit near his eye.now he wont eat them.

it was 48 hours ago and he is fine just not liking horn worms right now.
