Hornworm Chow

Hi all, I have a question regarding this hornworm chow recipe. I have bought all the ingredients but there is one I have some doubts about.

Sunnyside Corp's Pure Linseed Oil. I read it is use for drying wood? As far as I know, it is not toxic, but I want to make sure it is safe for the hornworms.

I have this exact recipe but it calls for flaxseed oil from the same manufacturer. I would not use linseed oil however they do make a dietary linseed oil. I still would not use it.

I was unable to find anything made for consumption by Sunnyside Corp. I only see paints, cleaners and some other chemicals; which makes me wonder the reason why Sunnyside was suggested as brand in the original recipe.

Will it be ok if I substitute flaxseed oil with either coconut or olive? If no, is this a good flaxseed oil to use? even though it does not say is pure or raw?

Thanks for replying, I very much appreciate the help.

I have followed that recipe to a T with linseed oil and the hornworm i ordered from great lakes wont touch the stuff don know what I doing wrong?
