Hi! I have a few hornworms that just recently cocooned! I noticed one did not fully close his cocoon and last time I had that happen it died. Can I feed it to my chameleon? He is big enough to eat it but could it harm him or not be good for him?
Personally I do not feed them when they cocoon or when they are large enough to cocoon. They can be much too large for them and they can struggle to get them down and choke on them.
