Hornworm diapause

Hi everyone, I need some info on hornworm pupae diapause. I tried google first, but I can't get any more info than what I already know...

I had read piglet's rearing guide. I put some mature horns into dirt to bury and pupate, which I was very successful with. But I forgot about setting up a light for photoperiod. My first batch were all pupas on nov 9, and I'm still waiting for them to emerge. So I'm thinking they have gone into their long diapause. I read they can be tricked into emerging if this happens. How do I go about doing this? Sometime in the fridge and then give them a proper light cycle after taking them out?

I sell reptile food, but my big sellers are hornworms and silkworms(which I'm still having horrible luck with). Any input would be great, I'm losing out on customers because I don't have the big sellers :(

Thanks
