Hornworm Feeding Schedule

I am currently feeding my female veiled chameleon (a little over a year old) dubia roaches on a regular basis. I have been looking for a new feeder to add just a bit of variety to her diet, and I decided to settle on hornworms. I was wondering how often I could feed them to her. I know that they are considered a treat, and right now my plan is to feed her once every Friday. Does this sound like a good schedule to those who know the language of hornworms? If I need to space the time out more, I will.
Other information is that my chameleon does not have any history of being overweight and I definitely don't plan on letting her get overweight. Thank you and happy Sunday! :)

They grow really fast, so I usually feed them a couple a day. I don't get them often, so I use them to boost their diet, give them some variety, and try pump them with the vitamins.
If you wait too long, they might get too big for her.

On that note, I buy from Josh's frogs and they come with a little tip. Keep hornies in the fridge for 2 days then out for 1 to slow down their growth. I forget the temps, I just stick them in there towards the front and haven't had any issues....except that my dude gorges himself on them and a cup of 25 only lasts a little more than a week and they're not cheap.

Thank you for the information! Unfortunately Camryn decided that hornworms were definitely not her thing, and now I guess I will have to feed them to my blue gill or bass. They are already humongous!
