Hornworm question

Hey everyone. Well I know that if you find wild hornworms, they are a no go because they usually feed on tomatoe plants but today my neighbor found a couple of them on her plumeria plant. The plumeria itself is poisonous for sure and I was thinking if I could possibly flush the poison out by feeding it other greens? Will I have a better chance flushing their poison out because they weren't feeding on a tomatoe plant?

I'm just curious. If it still isn't safe for my chameleons, I will either kill them or let them go.

Thanks.

Don't kill them if you can't flush the poisons out. Let them go! :)
I'm sure it's a possibility of flushing out the poisons of the plant from the worms.

Put them in the freezer they're a nuisance to gardeners everywhere. When in doubt don't feed them to anyone.

arent they illegal to release?? (what about when you catch one wild??)

i wouldnt feed anything to my chams that had been feeding on poisonus things..
