Hornworm Timelapse

Howdy All,

Hornworms eating chow don't seem to be as entertaining as silkworms chowing-down on mulberry leaves . It was fun to watch the chow crack as it dried-out :). The camera was set to take one shot per minute for 520 minutes (battery ran out ). The compressed video runs at 10 frames per second for a total time of 52 seconds.

Canon T2i DLSR with the simple 18-55mm kit lens. The camera settings were: manual mode, AF off, 55mm, 1/30th, F13, 1600, small image, and tungsten light.

Cool video dude, I was starting to think they were upside down, and I was at first thinking to myself... Hope that camera's lens has windshield wipers! Hah, anyways nice video and your silkworm video was cool too!

If you keep mantids, it would be cool to see a mantis eating something! Love how mantids eat their prey like corn on a cob! lol

very nice camera!

My friend has the latest canon too. dont know if it is the same. she takes picture of her daughter falling down while iceskating competition.. and the image was superb! the camera takes lightning speed photos!

so cool!! I really liked the worm that's towards the bottom of the bin. He just sat in the same spot the whole time munching away, then towards the end he makes the break for it and grabs chow from the middle of the bin haha. What a chunker!
