hornworms and roaches

After feeding my veiled mainly crickets and some superworms, I have branched out and bought hornworms and roaches. I bought 50 dubias with the intention of breeding them so that I don't need to keep buying crickets which die so easily and escape. The problem is now all my chameleon wants to eat is hornworms. He ate two yesterday and two today, and these were very large, like the size of my finger. He won't even look at the superworms, and I'm worried that I'm going to have 1000 superworms just laying around still in a month (I bought 1000 in bulk). Are hornworms nutricious enough? They are kind of expensive can I breed them?

i love hornworms as my chameleon feeders. I believe they are more nutritious than superworms.
You can certainly breed them.
Just make sure you do not release any in the wild. they are considered as pests.

Hornworms are great for hydration high in protien and also high in fat. There are a couple sites on breeding. If you search the forums you will find links and other info on them.

Everything in moderation they need a varied diet as if they were in the wild.

this would make sense because the two days that he was eating hornworms he also didn't drink when I misted him and he always drinks when I mist him. It only takes a few seconds and he drinks.
