Why the **** do my hornworms keep dieing? I grew them out from small babies in a cup and now that there bigger i moved them into a bigger container. It has holes in the lid and i provide the same food but now at least one a day now shrivel up and die. Whats wrong?

May they just be reaching the end of their life? If they're full grown I know that mine sometimes die instead of pupate.

Is your set-up the same as it was in the cup, with the vertical set-up? I don't know, but perhaps that makes a big difference.

Your container may be a dirty...buy a NEW container leave the cap off of it, OR you can fridge them theyll last long.

Mine die if I keep them too warm (I know, weird. Even at 83 they start turning to mush and dying.) they seem to do fine between 75-80 for me.

i bought mines off of mulberry farms and they withstood high temps, something like 80-85f, maybe i got lucky?
