Just some pics from the last couple of days feeding off some hornworms. The last pic is the biggest hornworm I have ever seen.....4 inches. He rustled it in just fine, but after 3 chomps it fell out of his mouth. Not hard to figure....damn thing weighed 2 pounds.:)

I had a HUGE hornworm (tomato worm) on my tomato plant. It was at least 20 grams and was about 4.5 inches long.I figured out what ate half of my tomato plant though! His horn scared the crap out of me!

Thanks all.

These are just so beautiful. How do you get these shots?
These were shot in a room with a painted sky background hanging on the wall.

YAY !! more pics :D I absolutely can not wait until your Christmas ones !!!
I'm working on it. I have a couple, but nothing that great yet. I guess I'll wait until after Thanksgiving to post them.;)

Great shots. Ha huge Hornworms are pretty impressive aren't they?
For sure. It's crazy how heavy they are.

What camera do you use to shoot these great shots and do you have light reflector disc behind you to make them pop out more vivid color??

I use a Canon 7D. Usually no reflectors. Most times, like these shots, I have a flash from front above with a diffuser and another behind pointing at the background.

I still wish you were moving closer to me. I would hire you for all my kids photos. We do professional photos every year. Need someone for the reptiles though.
