house flies?

can my chameleon eat wild house flies? I cant buy them where I live so can I catch wild ones to feed to him? thanks

I wouldn't! Lots of time they've been walking in animal feces & in garbage, so you could end up with a cham with parasites! Tapeworm!

can i ask exactly how you can't buy them? you are on this site, so clearly you have access to the internet. and there are many places on the net that sell them. where is it that you live that ordering online wouldnt work?

My family wont let me have them in the house. My mom would scream if I did. She already dosen't like the roaches

Well.....if mom says "NO!", try other feeders. There's a plethora of them out there for the taking. Just do a search on this site for feeders and you'll read for hours. Ditch the fly idea for now and try some other feeders.
