House fly???

I have proudly caught a house fly )) So can I feed it to my chams? can I throw in fruit and hope it lays eggs??

I have no clue if you can feed it.... Im afraid to do Wc bugs.... and flys eat alot of crap! (no pun intended xD) so idk... im almost positive though it would start laying eggs if you threw in some fruit. Ive never raised flys so I couldnt tell you really how to go about raising these XD

Only as a very occasional bit of variety, you have no idea where it's been......but my veileds would eat them all day if I let them I imagine

Sayid LOVES them...when I catch them I gut load for a few days then feed him. I always feed him WC insects and moths...but it also depends on where you live...pesticides and parasites are the biggest fears of WC, and of course that they aren't poisioness to your cham....What ever I catch, I place in deli cups with lids and some feed, if they survive three days then chances are they have no contact with pesticides, and you k now they have had healthy intake.

Whenever i bring my cham outside in the summer he hunts down flies and dragonflies like crazy. Most people on here are against it but i haven't had a problem with it.
