How about these?

omg kent i have seen those around my house to there so nasty and have alto of juice in them i thought they were like hugee queen ants loll how funny is that

I used to find them in California when I lived there. They can dig well. I would normally find them when I saw dirt flying through the air in the middle of the yard

Camel or Cave Crickets. There was a site that sold these as a feeder, but much more expensive. Can't recall it. I think it was on that Feeder forum that was posted here a long while ago.

They are Jeruselum crickets or Niñas de la Tierra (children of the earth, in Spanish) or "bald old man"...they are not true crickets and eat dead organic material and sometimes other insects.

Living in Canada these are not what we call potato bugs at all...never even seen one of those!
This is what we call potato bugs and what I used to remove from my grandmother's potato plants...and its definitely not something to feed to our chameleons since it also visits deadly nightshade...

Howdy,

A thousand years ago, back when I was a kid, I happened to lift my bedsheets to find a large potato bug right where my feet would have been in a few seconds . For the next couple of years I always checked .
