How do fruit fly cultures work?

Hello everyone one again, i have one last question. One my fruit fly culture i have this little things that like like a little grain of rice. Is that the fruit fly's cocoon and eventually there will be a ton of them in there? Right now there are not many but i assume in a couple days there will be a ton. Am i right? Thanks for your help once again

Yes. The fruit flies will emerge from the little brown "rice grains" in a few days.

Those little white things are the larva when they reach an appropriate size they will crawl up the container or elixir and turn brown. That's there cocoon and a couple days later they will hatch.
