How do i get my chameleon to open up to me?

HI guys and gals.

When I'm around my cham he seems to be really anxious when he sees me. I need to take him to the vet and i don't know how I'm going to pick him up. Can i get some suggestions?

Use a branch and let him crawl on to that. They usually are not so upset once out of the cage its getting them to come out that is hard. They do not like you in there space.

Ya he will climb on it, just use your one hand in front of him and push him a little bit on the other side so that he will climb on your hand. No reason to be shaky, I doubt he bites you, even if he does the baby likely wont hurt much.

After u get him out ,place him with some papertowel within the container then transfer him out asap to ur vet.

I give my baby a meal worm from my hand each morning little mini ones cause I know they are fattening and now when I approach the cage he comes to see what he can get, lil greedy thing he is, anyway that works for me. Good luck and don't fret. He's gonna love you as long as you provide bugs. Hope your vet visit goes well
