How Do You Maintain Humidity for Montane Neonates?

I'm getting ready for my clutch of 12 Trioceros quadricornis gracilior eggs to hatch in a minimum of six weeks.

I was planning to house them in a 24" x 24" by something like 18" wide glass Exo-Terra terrarium.

How do I keep them hydrated?

This will be my first time dealing with neonates.

Thanks.

If you're housing in an Exo-Terra that is fully planted, I sprayed once or twice a day for a few minutes each time.(5 minutes or so if once a day, 2-3 minutes each misting if twice a day)

This has nothing to do with the humidity, but with raising them in groups. I've found that the babies don't tolerate each other right out of the egg. I try to separate them as quickly as possible and if I don't, one of them always seems to fail to thrive, even in a large cage.

I'm very pleased that Tylene chimed in on this. Especially with her good deal of experience raising baby quads. The thought that quads tolerate each other better than other chameleons couldn't be further from the truth with those that I've kept, and even babies HATE each other. It's actually much easier to keep baby lateralis in groups than baby quadricornis.

The babies can be kept in Exo Terra or ZooMed Naturalistic vivariums that are 12X12X18 singly, although that's a lot of space. Otherwise, little cages like Dragon Strands work great too.

Yes I have gone to DrangonStrand baby cages. At first I thought they were to small, but when you see how well the babies do in those cages, it is well worth the money. Plus it lets you know what each baby is doing, eating, pooping, and climbing around like it should be.
