How do you present a hornworm?

My veiled takes no interest in the green things, they don't move much.

How do you get your chameleons to eat theirs?

Put it on the screen of the cage, if there is a more open area.

Those hornworms freak after a bit and start crawling like mad.

Have had it happen aswell, I now use an open hand or 8" feeder tongs. It did not hurt, yet was kinda shocking cause I didn't expect it. I like to do horns on a vine, kinda like a hot dog on a stick...hehe I assume they have those in Az!?!?

They have them in the malls here in Ca, "Hot Dog on a Stick". They are corn dogs, but they fry them up with some magic batter. They also have homemade lemonade. Dang it! I just drooled on the keys..*gets towel*

I had some small hornworms and put them in a small cup just like the phoenix worms.
My cham has also eaten them off the screen. Those little things grip the screen pretty tight and I watched mine actually shoot it with his tongue and then yank the thing off by twisting his head.
Next time I am going to offer one by hand.
My cham definitely likes them.
