How do you tell if your chameleon is blind?

Hello everyone. Ive made recent forums about my panther chameleon. If you have seen them here is what is happening. He is a little more active but his eyes are very sunken. I've got a baby food type food for him by the vet. He is eating and drinking water but I have to do it forcefully. He is also getting one shot a day prescribed by the vet. He kind of just reaches out for stuff in his cage as if he can't see and usually doesn't move around that much but he still doesn't more than he used to. Is it possible that someone could help me find out how to tell if my chameleon is blind.

I have a blind panther chameleon tamatave red. Also sunken eyes one eye is completely cataract. The other eye opens every now and then but I can also see he's getting cataracts on that one. I have to force-feed and only way he drinks is a shower everyday. Also I don't mean force feed the invasive way he'll eat on his own when his mouth opens. While he drinks. Mine also does the grasping for straws movements
