How far from bulb can chameleon be for adequate uv

What is the minimum and maximum ideal distance from the bulb to the cham for a 5.0 and a 10.0 uv reptisun type bulb? I am wondering mainly because I am trying to reconfigure my free range setup for ideal uv exposure ! Thank you so much

You can only know that by measuring with light meter.

Each bulb will have a different depth that the UVB actually penetrates. Bulbs like ZooMed have had a large range even when brand new. As soon as you turn on the bulb, it starts deteriorating. I use 14% Arcadia for pretty much everything. Arcadia bulbs penetrate deeper and last longer.
