How long can a female Jackson Retain sperm

Ok so she laid a clutch on July 4th 2011 which is over a year ago. however in the year that has passed she has beefed up over time has become less active when ever I show her the male she gapes and sways and gets pissed and try to push him off the branch. Now I know they retain sperm and I will post a pic as soon as she calms down from seeing the male a few minutes ago but is this possible for her to be gravid over a year later.

I assume it is just want to double check she is a champ all the way ill say that eats like a wild boar drinks and sits under her light just chilling not to active so idk she has the grip of a lumber jack and is very aware of everything around her so I know she is not ill.

Wow if she does more than a year later that is a very long time. Mine had babies about 5 weeks ago and she looks like she is about to give birth again and do know they can retain sperm but I am not sure for how long. 1 Year seems like a really long time but am honestly not sure. That would be crazy and cool if she did have babies more than a year later.

From the pics well its always hard to tell for sure but comparing her girth to mine who had babies 5 weeks ago and taken into consideration she only had 10 babies mine was considerably thicker I would say no but I am not the expert. How much do you say she eats a day? Mine eats between 4-7 crickets/grasshoppers a day and she has grown in girth considerably since she gave birth making me think she too is going to give birth to a second set of babies here shortly.

The symptoms sure do sound like she is pregnant though as mine was acting the same way before giving birth.

She eats like a barbarian how ever much i put in she eats like every other day she will knock down ten or so crickets. If i gave her more she would gladly eat it worms,silk,butter,horned she eats it all no questions asked.

Your girl definitely looks prego's...not sure how they can retain sperm for over a year though, are you sure she hasn't come in contact with any males since giving birth?

That's a lot too much food for your female. Continuing feeding about ten feeders every other day may result in a high amount of offspring and unfortunately a very shortened lifetime.

Yes im sure she has not been in contact with another male unless she has a number for a chameleon escort service and uses it when im not home. I am baffled my self as to how it could take so long my only thought was if she retains sperm is it used rite away like what if would take like 3 months for her to produce the egg sacs inside her then it would take how ever long to gestate them and pop em out ?????
