How long did it take your chameleon to adjust to moving?

Hi guys, it's been a while since I've been on the forums. Jean-Luc is over a year old now.

I just moved residences, and he's understandably rather freaked. I expected him to be put off his food and act a little weird for a while, but I wanted to know how long it took your chameleons to adjust. It's been 6 days now and he's barely eating. He ate about 4 crickets two days ago, and I've been offering him crickets since then.

He used to eat from my hand but now he's acting too scared, so I'm not pushing the issue and just putting the crickets in his cage. He's ignoring them, however. He's got his room vines set up, and he comes out sometimes, but in general acts very nervous.

So I just need some reassurance/advice for easing his transition.

As far as how long to adjust I think that would depend on the chameleon. Some out of the cage time is a good idea and try some different feeders. That might spark his interest.

When I took in one of my chameleons from another member, he did not eat for 11 days. I used the same cage he was in and added some more plants and vines for him. Of course, he was in a completely new environment and new people and things surrounding him. They can go for quite awhile without food as long as they are drinking.
