How many crix per day?

How many crickets should I feed my 4in veiled chameleon per day? I've been feeding her about 3-5 small ones so far, but I'm hesitant that it might be too few. I'm pretty new to the concept of having to feed a reptile more than twice per week, so I guess I can use all the help I can get on this issue.

Also, if possible, is there a feeding chart available so I know how to feed her as she grows?

My Veiled is about 2-3 months old and he eats about 20 small crickets a day.

I have no idea. Sadly she was a petsmart buy. All I can say for certain is that she is about 4 inches long.

When they are growing they can eat as many as 25 a day. Personally i make sure they always have as much as they want when they are still growing.

Less than 5 months old (which your sounds like) Id feed as much as she can handle. After 5 moths Id slow down to 5 medium size crickets a day

They arent full grown for almost a year...let them have more than 5 crickets.

I went ahead and gave her 9 today to go with the 5 she had yesterday and the 3 the day before (I've only had her 3 days), but it's good to know I'm not going to be starving her now. I had no idea their metabolisms are so fast, almost like a mammal's! Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!

This is just a very fast growing time..it will slow down around 10 months

yes.. good to hear.. mine usually eats 14 to 20 crix a day. (he's also 4 in)
Are you buying your cricket at petsmart too?
if you are you might start to consider buying bulk like 100-500 crix at online store.
They are wayyyy cheaper..
