I finally got my chameleon to eat something else besides crickets and it's super worms. How many a day should I feed him?

He is about 6-7 months oldHow old is you little guy?
Wow that's a lot. I also feed him cricketsNow that you've got him eating supers At 6-7 months old, I would imagine that he can consume between 10-15 small supers or 5-10 medium super worms. My guy's 14 mo. old and I've started feeding every other day. He'll usually suck down 5 LARGE super worms on super worm day. Now that you've got him eating supers, try horn or silkies.
I can tell when my chameleon is hungry. He walks around the container he eats from and waits there for foodExperiment and go from there. From my experience, chams. are definitely not an exact science. Every cham's. different and eats at his or her own speed. I've had hunger strikes with Lucky and complete gorging fests, when he decided that he absolutely loved something offered. If he's eating everything offered and looking for more, add another. If he's leaving a few behind, then........
Very cool. At this age you want to give him what he needs, feeding him still on a daily basis, but no too much, as he can get portly.I can tell when my chameleon is hungry. He walks around the container he eats from and waits there for food
