how often should my 4 month old veiled poo?

hi my cham ate two small lumps of substrate last thursday and he isnt pooing very often but as i only had him tuesday i dont know how often he poos he didnt poo at all yesterday once the day before.He has eaten 25 crickets in the last two days should he have pooed yet?

at that age they pretty much poop every day or every other as they eating quite a large quantity of food. Have you removed the substrate? If not, please do. This is the exact reason we also recomend no substrate. I hope your chameleon is ok. Please keep us posted.

its also possible that he has pooed, but you havent found it.

I have a 1 year old male veiled, and the ONLY reason i can find his poo, is cuz he goes in the same spot everyday.

I can rarely find my 7 month old female veiled's poo.

i removed the substrate straight away. well ill keep my eyes peeled thanks guys. mind you i thought i bought him to look at now im just checking for poo lmao

but poo is such an exciting part of cham keeping
if you dont see a poo in a day or so you could take a feeder and dip the head into some mineral oil and hand feed to your cham. that usually getting things moving
