How old before they start laying?

My female chameleon is about 8 weeks old and has already started digging..... Is this right or is she doing something else?

what kind of female?

If she is a veiled or a panther, it may be too hot and she is trying to escape the heat. if you fill out the how to ask for help form, people will be able to help you out a lot more.

Sounds like she's not happy with something in her vivarium. 8 weeks is a little young - I think the earliest I have herad of a veiled laying is 4 months.

8 weeks is WAY to young to be producing eggs in my opinion, although I imagine it could happen. Like Kara suggested, it would help if you fill out the "how to ask form".
