How old do veileds have to be to sex them

I'm not sure how old my chameleon is, but he's tiny. I was wondering when you can tell if it's a male or female

Right out of the egg, really. You will want to look at the back of their back heels - a female's heel will look like the heel of your own hand, smooth. However a male will have a little nub in the middle, it could be small if he's very young but it should be there. Almost little a little pimple or what we call a spur poking out.

If you attach nice clear photos we can ID him for you but you should be able to do it yourself. If you google "how to sex veiled chameleons" in images you'll see examples of what I'm talking about.
