How to make my own cricket food???

Hi all. I was wondering if there is a "recipe" to take fresh veggies and other goodies then somehow blend them up and put into ice cube trays or some kind of mold where I can just break off/cut a piece and put it in my cricket bin? I am guessing if it was cube shaped then I would need some kind of gelatin so it keeps it shape (thinking of cricket food that we buy in jars which come in cube shapes). Obviously it would require refrigeration. I saw a similar recipe for koi food which looked sort of like granola and they break a piece off and let it float in their pond for their koi to nibble on.

I saw something when I did a google search but it was not chameleon related so I figured I would come here with my question.

Thanks.

The best commercial food that fits that description would be Repashy Bug Burger, which you mix with water, warm up, and it hardens into a gelatin substance that you can cut and use however you want. It can be refrigerated or frozen thereafter.

As for a recipe you make, I've seen members blend together several healthy greens and veggies (like collard greens, mustard greens, carrots, squash, zucchini, etc.) and freeze it in an ice cube tray. This works fine too.

I just provide a commercial dry gutload (like Repashy Superload) and whatever fruits or veggies I have on hand that week in whole chunks.

This is a great idea. I need a gelatin type of food That I can prepare all at once and save for a little bit. I've been neglecting my crickets. Can they eat red peppers?
