Hows this setup?

Hi i was wondering if i can get opinions on my setup. I am getting a 3.5 month old sambava tomorrow. I want to make sure there is enough but not too much foliage. Thanks.

i think im gonna move some fake plants up towards that vine by the basking light so he has cover up there. What ya think? Thanks

that looks pretty good. i expect the open area is where your water catch will be.

yea im gonna put the water catch over there, my cham died last week, i tried everything i could..but thats why now i wanna make sure everything is good for this new guy. Thanks

Your cage looks great.
Here's how we make the set up for each cage.
It makes it easy to keep the bottom clean and dry.
And gives you something to attach the vines to.
Just a suggestion

i would put a real plate under your plant. the paper might fall apart and mold with the constant watering.

buy 2 sets of thermometer and hygrometer.
put one set to monitor the highest temp and humidity (put it close to the basking spot)
and put one to monitor the lowest temp and humidity (as far away from the basking spot)

ok..i have one set now but as u can see i cant find a way to get them to stick to the screen..any suggestions? Thanks

supper glue and sometimes it works to put paper on the opposite side of the screen to help hold it

I just bought 2 more from screameleons (nosy mitsio's) I get them tomorrow morn so im excited.

Anyway setup looks good

Go to target and buy a velcro sticker.
stick one side to the back of the thermometer and take the other side outside of the screen and push them together.

That way you can adjust your set anytime you want to.

ahh good idea ill get some velcro. I am going to get a female from scream at the next whiteplains show. I got a good deal on this one so i couldnt pass it up, but i def wanna get one from them i jan at the next show.
