Humidifier Use / Breeze In Cage

Hello All,

I will be getting Ego my 3 month old Male Nosy Be tomorrow. I have had the cage set up for about a month now. I was having problems keeping my humidity above 50% so I bought an invisible cool mist humidifier. It solved my problem and I have been able to maintain about 52% going up to about 70% when I mist. My question: I have the humidifier sitting on the floor about 3-4 feet from cage and the cage is raised up off of the floor. The breeze created by the humidifier blows some of the leaves from my ficus around but I have moved the humidifier enough to where it just affects a small portion of the cage. Is this breeze going to pose any health issues to Ego? The reason I have it "aimed" at the cage is because it's in a large room.

Great job doing all your research prior to bringing home your new cham.

The breeze will not cause any health issues. It may be beneficial during the night for some additional coolness and increased airflow.

Good luck... I love my Nosy Be
