Humidifiers

I read in a old post, someone said do NOT use humidifiers at night. I am confused because my understanding is that with my veiled cham in particular, they're humidity should be 75-100% at night and 40-50% during the day time, i have a mistking just not installed yet and not sure how to achieve this otherwise???

Nah the new moto is "only use your humidifier at night". Just look up fogging at night. you dont "run" the humidifier, you jimmy rig a hose on the outlet and run it into the cage so you have chameleons in the mist. Then your day time target is your 30-50%. Some even run a dehumidifier during the day.

Oh ok, thanks, I live in a dry, desert environment and actually have to run a humidifier during the day to reach 40-50% RH during the day

Just make sure your not running it directly into the cage during the day. It can be in the room running during the day but in the cage will cause an RI with the heat from the lights. Ideally you would have one for nights when the cage is below 68 degrees for naturalistic hydration and and one for day in the room to up ambient humidity.
