Humidity on a budget

As a future breeder I'm always looking for ways to save money where I can.
I was looking at doing two 24x24x48 enclosures for Jacksons and want to hear from everyone on what the best method is and then the most economic method to manage humidity in a large screened cage. Was planning on just dropping $200 on a mistking but I'm open to ideas. Also, how long and how often do you mist?
Thank You for the tips and ideas!

The basic Mistking set up will accommodate up to 10 nozzles. It would be perfect for 2 enclosures. It's about $100+shipping. I would say that's pretty budget friendly. It's a great product with great customer service. You will only have to buy a misting system onece. Do it right the first time around.

As far as misting times and schedule goes: it's dependent on many factors. Humidity plays into to it a ton. If you live in a dry climate more misting will be necessary to maintain a properly humid environment. Type of chameleon. Jacksons need a more humid environment than veilds and panthers. I personally mist 4 times a day at 1 minute intervals. It may go up as the summer heat is starting g to set in. Typically you want the enclosure to come close to drying out between mistings to help prevent bacteria from running rampid.
