hunger strike

I am really starting to get worried my 8 month old veiled chamo has basically stopped eating. He was a great eater up until about a 2 weeks ago and now I can't even force feed him.He ate a couple of butterworms last sunday but is completely off crickets. His strength is still good,as witnessed by his struggle when I tried to force feed him earlier this week. The only thing that has changed in his environment is it is unseasonagbly cold here for the time of year it gets down to around 68-70 at night in my suite. He is in a 6ft flexarium with live plants 2 uva-uvb florecents and a 100 w basking spot,I only get to spray him once a day because of my work but he doesn't serem dehydrated.Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It is also hard to get to a good vet here that knows about exotics with my work but if something doesn't change I'll have to teake off work to go thanks

Chameleons can shut down for long periods of time for one reason or another. I would free range the insects if possible also provide the insects with food. If the chameleon looks healthy I wouldn't worry about it and force feeding should be a last resort it will stress him out.
