I live in fort Myers Florida and Irma might hit us here at category 4! I want to know what's the best way to take my chama with me? We might leave to a hotel or who knows where but I will never leave my chams! I was thinking of asking pet o for some carrying boxes and loading them up with a napkins and my chams and buying supers and some crickets to take with me I was also going to disssemble their cages to go with lights and all and my mistking. Does this seem good? We might get a hotel and sneak them in!

lol I had to sneak my animals into a hotel a week ago because of hurricane Harvey. Unfortunately Im not sure how best to transport chameleons as I don't have one yet. Wishing you the best of luck and hoping you, your family, and your belongings escape this disaster unscaved!

Lol and thank you very much. They're not 100% but im a have a plan kind of guy and I want to not take any chances i don't think our apartment can take a category 4 hopefully we find someplace to go!

We live in the Keys and may be evacuating too. I have small travel cages for all of my guys.
Oh yea the Keys please be safe! Oh my gosh this is getting crazy! I don't have travel sized so the boxes seem like my only choice hopefully pet I doesn't run out of feeders well supera most of all before I get any!

Hope all of you are safe....and your critters too.

If you could set up bins like this they would stack and then you could transport the chameleons in paper bags or small boxes or pillowcases (one chameleon per container)...of course you need lights and branches too...hand mister or deliver cup drippers...

Looks good but I was thinking of tearing down their cages and rebuilding them in the hotel I just needed a little transportation idea while we get to the hotel.

We have all our pet travel cages ready. Today I'm getting up all their supplies and meds and all of our valuables. Now my husband will secure the house and get as much as we can secure outside...then we are out of here.
Thats great please be safe!! We dont have much valuable wise but were going to pack today or tomorrow supposedly its going to hit Saturday night if it continues its path.
