Hurricane Irma

This past week we watched our neighbors move their fancy cars and boats to higher ground. We have been busy moving the things that are most important to us.....our pets. We are at a pet friendly Holiday Inn in Sarasota. We will probably still have winds and rain, at them moment they are saying a cat 2. Our house in the Keys will be hit by a cat 4 or 5. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

We made it to the hotel and the lizards and frog are getting some sun and water

Teddy and Bart got some outside time too.

Stay safe! Apparently there's another hurricane right on Irma's heels...and an earthquake in Mexico. Geesh...so many peoples', lives disrupted and in danger.

I went through hurricane Hazel in 1954 and it wasn't nearly as bad in our area as Irma is...and I was glad we never had another that bad so I can't imagine going through Irma.
