Hydration?

Hey everyone I am new to the site and a new father of two little energetic rascals; Mittens (female), Curly (male)-both veileds
I have done my homework before getting one, but am still having trouble with hydration.
I understand they are new and young, but when I mist they flee. When it drips they are no where in site. So my question to you...are there any other methods for babies to drink water?

If you have a constant dripper along with multiple mistings a day, chances are they are drinking and you are not seeing it. Can you check their urates and make sure they are white and not yellow? That is a major key in checking hydration. :)

ETA: Are they caged separately?

Ya their droppings resemble bird poop but in the opposite manner, more black/brown than white.
And they are only about 1.5 inches in length (without tail) so they are housed together.

Feeding a variety of insect types including worms etc, and gutloading them with freh fruit/greens veg regularly will help ensure good hydration also. :)

Another good reason to house chams separate is so that you can tell how much each is getting to eat and drink. You can tell who's fecal matter is who's. If you see yellow in with the feces, that is generally a sign of dehydration. White is a good thing. :)

Worms can be cup fed, and I found that generally works best. Mine always liked tiny silkies at that age.
