Hygrometer/Thermometer position?

Nightmare. Do you have to wear a mask?

Just to let you know my reading Today at 14.50hrs:

Temp 25°C Humidity 71%

One last point that's been on my mind.
In the four short months I had Hammy I very rarely used his basking light. This was because the temps were usually early to mid 20's. Should I, in hindsight, always brought the temperature up to around 28/30°C? I used to see his mouth open, whenever it got too hot!

Thanks Mark

Thankfully no.

the humidity is very very high for the daytime During the day 30-50% the night 90-100%. The temps are great 25 is good yeah don't use basking or crank it up to 30 bc that could overheat him.

There is no risk in underheating them because in the winter they are actuslly exposed to daytime temps of 15-20c. 25 is good year round but you can try to stimulate high summer temps and low winter temps if you're up for a challenge

Hi
I bought this a few weeks ago and used it! Do you think it would work sitting on top of the mesh lid?

Figaro is 3 to 4 months old I found out. Did you get the last photo of a dehumidifier I sent you. I just wondered, as I didn't hear back from you. I'll attach it again. I was planning to set it on top of the mesh roof by day only. Do you think it'll work?

I am not familiar with that product... If the OP is still using glass enclosure then IMO this will not make a difference. Glass cages have to be set up just right for chams. It becomes a situation where you have to get all the balancing of the miniature ecosystem in place.
