I just got The (UVB reptisun 5.0).

1- How far should the (UVB reptisun 5.0) set away from the cham. ?
2- should it gives heat ? Because when i touch mine there is a little of heat.
3- should it gives powerful light ? Because mine doesn't give so.
4- How far should the basking light set away from the cham. ? I'm using a
regular house bulb ( 100 watt ).

1- Mine is about 8 inches
2- It gives off a little heat but not the main source
3- I don't understand this part?
4- Same as UV light. I would bring the wattage down to 60 or 75 Watt.

Linken, I think #3 means should it be lighting up the cage.

If so mohamed then the answer is no, if your looking for your reptisun to illuminate your cage this won't do it. Leave that to your basking light. The UVB light should be dim in comparison.

Yes, It should be dim conpared to the Basking light, this is just strictly for the UV not to get the cage lit up.

Yaah and by the way the man told me that a new shipment of chameleons will arrive to him after a week, so he said bringh him after a week and i will change it to U.

Glad to hear he's still hanging in there! Be sure if you exchange this chameleon that you get another male. Much easier to take care of for a beginner. Try to look them over good and get the healthiest one. Look for things like good full eyes, smooth skin, not to skinny, good grip when you hold him. Nasty disposition. Let us know how it goes. However, It looks extremely bright in there.
Bright White light, Is that incadescent? or UVB

I think its the Incodescent, its 100 Watt. That could be why.

Mohamed, It looks like you have substrate on the bottom of your cage, Is it moss?

Muhamed, also ask him what species of chameleon they are. The one you have now is not a veiled. I think someone on your last thread identified it, I just don't remember what it was. Also ask where they came from, what country. These are most likely wild caught, check their skin closely to see if you can spot any subcutaneous parasites, if so, they have to be cut out so I would steer clear of those. I hope your present one makes it, but if not, I hope your next one is a better experience for you. David

I have talked to the man and he said that it's veiled but I told him that the guys from the forum told me it's not.He said those doesn't know anything, and he say that I can put 2 cham together but i told him that It's ok for 4 month and down,but he's not listening.

forget where it is but there is a post on here that talks about someone from canada wanting to get a cham from the us. it talks about how it cost sometimes double to triple the amount to get the right papers and such just to send one so id search for that thread and see if it can shed light on what youre looking for. otherwise, find someone in kuwait. if my geography gets me right though, youre somewhere near the border of yemen, why not just go pick one off a tree yourself?
