I say purple bar, what says you?

Had to post these now that he is settled in an relaxed. I say he is a purple bar Ambanja, my wife and kids say red bar. What say you guys??:p

Ok, here is a good comparison. The first pic was the day I got him. That is blue bar and the second pic is today...PURPLE! C'mon guys, don't let my wife say "I told you so"!

Ok, I see the red veins going throughout the bars but the majority of the barring looks purple to me. I am really curious as to what most of you guys see. Reason being, when I breed this guy I want to be sure on the advertising!
 
It looks like fairly equal parts of blue and red to me. Doesn't red and blue make purple? If so, there ya go.....purple.:)
 
Personally, I think in order to call it a purple bar the bars should be a fairly solid purple (dark or light.) I would call him a red bar because of the last picture, or a blue bar with red flecks in it. I consider the non-red parts of his bars a blue and not a purple, but it is a very pretty blue! Then again, the photos might now reflect the colors very well, but I still think, IMO, that it should be a pretty solid purple to be a purple bar.
