I just wanted to say how awesome chameleons are as pets! When I seen my little guy I fell in LOVE! Granted he has a bite on his back from the wild :( and yes he was missing a few claws. Nobody wanted him but I knew that was my guy for sure :D!!! I can't. Help but try to give my Sunny a good rest of his life (he's an old guy but still my baby) I. Would have never guessed chameleons were such awesome creatures till I took a dive a got mine!

They are truly amazing creatures and so far (in my limited experience) an absolute joy to care for.

Does your lil guy often have his eyes closed? If so you may do well to get some advice from one of our Jacksons gurus.

Well, I wish you both good luck. Looks like he's going to need a lot of TLC, so be prepared for vet help. Not to rain on your parade but if he's spending much time resting as your pics show, he may be in serious trouble. What kind of care info do you have so far?

They are a joy to keep :)

I would just like to warn you that wild caught animals often don't do well in captivity. He doesn't look very healthy IMO.

There are a couple of great jackson keepers on here, hopefully they can give you some advice.

Thank you all for the your concers but these older pics. My Sunny is a lot more active after lots and lots of TLC and lots of reserching. These are from the first week I got him. He is now a happier little guy :)

I'm glad to hear he's doing better than in the pics.

How long have you had him?

Phew, I'm very glad to hear that :). I'd love to see a new pic if at all possible.

It has been an awesome 4 months granted the 1st one was the hardest trying to make him better. But all in all its been worth it

I am also getting a "rescue" Jackson's here tomorrow. The lady offered him to me for free, and I will do all in my power to get this guy back to his full health as well :) It looks like he has some hydration and swelling issues, but I think I can give him a pretty good home. Also, me and this lady are debating if he is wild caught :/ She got him from a "breeder" that she is now suspecting is importing wild Jackson's.

Hes got some beautiful colors and I really think that the name Sunny matches him well :) I have some female Jackson's who would find him to be a stunner I'm sure.

I wish you and your Jackson all the luck in the world! Its a great feeling to see the change and become healthier and happier little guys! :D
