Inactive every morning

Hi there, My year old panther male is not active in the mornings. He bounces off the walls around bedtime but every morning, he just sits there...gray. His lights go off at 7:15 and turn on at 8am. I think this is because he has a shed coming on soon. His last shed was January 7th. Is it possible to shed the same time every month? I just worry, but i guess thats just normal when you own a cham. Thank you all that respond

More than likely, its because hes cold and hes trying ot warm up.

when chams are cold, they dont move as much.

if its only in the mornings, hes just warming himself up from the night time temp drop.

My 6.5/7 month old is sort of doing the same thing. I noticed mine is more wrinkly looking... but i know he is near a shed. He is due right about now. Mine is also slow in the mornings to climb up to his usual spots. He has been doing this for 3 days with the 1st and 3rd day being slower than normal for him to climb up in the mornings.

+1 what camimom said.
You may want to check your basking temp with a digital thermometer with a probe in the spot where he basks.
Leave the probe there all day, morning till night, and monitor the temps.

Sounds like your cham just taking his time to 'charge his batteries' :D

P.S. don't worry about worrying, we all worry constantly about our chams. They seem to enjoy doing everything possible
to make us worry, and they are very good at it!!
