i have both a male and female vield chameleon and after a few attempts to breed them she finally accepted his apposal. however the question im askin is does any1 have a sugestion on how to make a good home-made incubator that provides the correct requirments for incubation. the other question i had was i know vield females can produce eggs weather fertile or not so how will u know if they are fertile and how long will this take. any help is great as this is only my first time of breeding and can say my last attempt with my gecko eggs failed. thanx again

Hey welcome to the forum and congrats.

I will pm you on an idea for a homemade incubator.

If they are infertile they can be small when laid, go mouldy during incubation after about a week, turn yellow, and there are a few more things but those are the main ones you will notice.
If they are fertile they will grow bigger through the months of incubation and should be white in colour.

Any other questions?

Good luck

There is a lot of info already posted on the forums if you will do a search.
The above link is what I have been fine tuning recently.
It's working really well now, staying at a constant 72 to 73 degrees f.
Once I got the drawer warmed up, I have been able to keep the heating pad underneath the dresser on low.
